遞球 to hand the ball to another player of ones own team
控球隊球員接到球之前，球未先經空中自由飛行或先被放置在地面，而是由原先持球球員將球直接遞交。此情況屬控球隊的輕微違規，裁判員應判由對隊在違規地點執行重新發球。惟當同一隊兩位球員幾乎同時獲取原先自由飛行或落在地面的球，而其中一人隨即放手，不應視為遞球。此規則的設立的精神，是要求控球隊不能以軀體的阻擋掩護，而是要透過傳球技術達成球體移動的目的。
