冰堡剖面圖 iceberg profile
是運動員在盤司心情量表(profiles of mood states, POMS) 的測驗結果。優秀選手在活力上明顯地高於一般選手，而在緊張、憤怒、困惑、疲勞、沮喪等情緒上則低於一般選手。由於優秀運動員在活力的得分特別高，此一結果以曲折圖來圖示，產生類似冰山的圖形，亦稱為冰堡剖面圖。雖然冰堡剖面圖在文獻中受到一些支持，但也有質疑其並無法解釋運動表現的差異(Rowly et al., 1995)，若以這個模式做為運動選才的依據，必須謹慎小心。而此模式較可能用來監控運動員個人的情緒變化，可以適度了解其情緒的狀態。
